With Amazon Chime, customers can:

  • Conduct and attend online meetings with HD video, audio, screen sharing, meeting chat, dial-in numbers, and in-room video conference support.

  • Administrators manage policies and set up SSO or other advanced features using the Amazon Chime management console.
  • Amazon Chime offers an easy-to-use app available for Windows, Mac, web, IOS, and Android devices.

Key benefits of using Amazon Chime:

  • Participants can join meetings with one tap, or mark themselves as ‘running late’ to alert their colleagues that they are behind schedule.
  • The visual roster allows users to work out who is present in the meeting, who has marked themselves as ‘running late, and where background noise is coming from, with the power to mute individual audio feeds.
  • During meetings, screens are often shared from any device, by any participant, without requiring permission, and remote control can be enabled for individual screen shares.
  • Meetings can be recorded, including video, voice, and shared content, with cloud storage allowing users to access recordings through their chat history on any device.
  • Video conference calls can be conducted with up to 16 participants on desktops, or 8 on mobile devices, with participants’ videos displayed as tiles.
  • Files can be attached to conversations to be shared with all participants, and searchable chat histories are automatically synchronized across devices.
